Something I really enjoyed about this book is that it isn't preachy

Something I really enjoyed about this book is that it isn't preachy, rather set in a conversational tone. This book explains how to feel a little more at ease when talking to the opposite sex, and confidence really does attract interest. There are a few spots in this book that made me giggle, I like when the author speaks candidly about a situation or subject matter. I am a bit awkward at times when communicating with people in general, so this book definitely gave me points to think about and try to improve on. This review is written based on my unbiased opinion.

The Science of Attraction is a must read for anyone who is having trouble in the relationship department. It goes into detail on different things that we each look for in creating a lasting relationship. Having access to this book some 20+ years ago might have saved me from a divorce or two. People today are more in touch with technology than each other so they can really benefit from reading this book and learning what to look for and/or avoid in a potential life partner.

This is a well written book for those that need help in flirting. This is written to give you tips on how to flirt and attract the opposite sex. these is an easy read and the tips are easy to take and make your own and use yourself. I fnd that this books flows nicely and you just keep just readu=ing and finding new tips to use to get the results that you want to accomplish. These is a book with tips that you can easily use and not feel that you are cheesy or obvious that you are using tips from a book. I received this free in exchange for an honest review.

He then traces the origins of the Moundbuilder societies of the Eastern Woodlands, which reached their apogee in the flamboyant Mississippian culture of the South and Southeast and the mounds of the ancient city of Cahokia. Professor Fagan put out this condense well research book in understanding the development and diversity of North American natives. It covers a long period and a vast region with a good description on the ancient Indian life.

This time machine enable readers to learn, understand and appreciate the Native Americans culture and civilization and best of all their accomplishment. They multiplied and occupied this land just as others in different land - being born, growing up, falling in love, quarreling, negotiating, going to war, and dying (P.257) for thousands of years. However, it all changed with Christopher Columbus. Indian life and fate yielded a different outcome with destructive diseases outbreak and almost total wipe-out.

Professor Fagan helps reader to discover America with its fascinating history and humanity. He made the journey simple and easy.

I had to read this book for a college course, but even despite that very much enjoyed it. Fagan covers many different groups of First peoples and in the process provides a clear depiction each society's respective culture and the archaeological evidence that makes such a depiction possible. The different pictures and aside panels break up the text in a way that makes the book feel like a quick read, yet when I got to the end I felt like I had developed a pretty good foundation on which I could build a more in-depth understanding of the Native peoples of North America.

Brain Fagan makes it clear and keeps it simple

This is the third Brain Fagan book that our book club has read. This is totally outside the comfort zone of most of the members but they have thoroughly enjoyed each one. We've had wonderful discussions. I'm the only one with an anthropology background and I've taken great pleasure in the interest these books inspire among my friends.

So thorough, inspiring and awesome!

I had the pleasure of taking Freedom's class in person to help clarify all my questions, but this second volume contains the answers to the questions from first volume. Freedom writes in a clear, accessible way, steeped in tradition. I would still recommend taking his class to have individual support with homework exercises. I wish it had an index for easier reference, but I understand the difficulties in producing one. I use both books for reference with every client, and they are getting very worn, so I'm looking forward to the hard cover edition!
Vedic Astrology is by far the most fascinating thing I've ever learned. It is so complementary to a study and practice of yoga, Ayurveda, massage/ health. Use it as well for understanding relationship and financial problems, spiritual matters, and how to overcome any obstacle through quantum nonlocal principles of donation, mantra, and other remedies. I highly recommend it after the first volume!!!

This book, like the first is chock full of things from his parampara that you won't find in any other Jyotish book. Like I ran the order of how to find out the conception chart on my daughter and it worked like magic. My jaw kind of dropped. Anyways, if you have some Jyotish background, I'd actually start with this book first possibly as he gets into philosophy a bit more and bigger picture things - or just cut to the chase and get both. Also check out Visti Larsen's book, another student of their teacher, Sanjay Rath, as they make his teachings accessible to the rest of the world.

Know the reference manual inside and out, sometimes the answer is taken straight from it.
Strengthen what you already know and review briefly that which you don't.
If you have to guess pick the same letter each time.
Study hard that which you are best at and make sure it covers at least 60% of the test.

About the Author
Ralph "Jake" Warner,widely recognized as a pioneer of the do-it-yourself law movement, Warner founded Nolo with Ed Sherman in 1972. He began publishing do-it-yourself law books written by him and his colleagues after numerous publishers rejected them. Warner holds a law degree from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley and an undergraduate degree from Princeton.

Denis Clifford, a graduate of Columbia Law School, where he was an editor of The Law Review, is a lawyer who specializes in estate planning. He is the author of many Nolo titles including Quick and Legal Will Book and Make Your Own Living Trust and co-author of Plan Your Estate and A Legal Guide for Lesbian and Gay Couples. This is a good, well written

Back in the 70's I was a senior business consultant, and paralegal for a group of attorneys. Though I didn't finish law school, I have a few thousand dollars in NOLO press books. I used them in the legal offices, and they were much easier to understand then the formal law books.

I personally had my own law research library, and yet exclusively refereed to the NOLO books. Even many attorneys used them too. This is a good, well written, easy to understand publication written in nontechnical language, You just can't go wrong with their books if they cover the subjects you need I have most all of their books on my shelf now, and update their corporations, and business related books like this Partnership one when I need to keep abreast of current information for my clients.

The title says "Form a Partnership: The Complete Legal guide" - I'm about halfway through the book, in Chapt. 9 p. 164 - (exact words) "CAUTION: This chapter does not enable you to prepare a legal partnership yourself. This chapter does not include samples clauses for actually drafting a limited partnership agreement. In the absence of any excellent self help materials on the subject, you'll definitely need to see a lawyer."
I'll let you decide what that makes this book. - So if this isn't considered excellent self help material, what is it, trivia?

Over the years, I've used many different Nolo books. This was consistent with the rest of them. Clear writing, good structure. It's hard to wax poetic about a book on this topic, but it did the job well for me. Good luck with your partnership ventures.
