I thoroughly enjoyed Goose and Harriet's story

I thoroughly enjoyed Goose and Harriet's story...apart for five years, after an unforgettable night, it was fun to read how they finally came together. Both having experienced their share of unfulfilled love lives, having them overcome their past and previous relationships was a great way to cheer them on to be together. Especially seeing Goose overcome his past misdeeds and reputation is quite heartwarming especially because Harriet was his motivation to do so. Including the recipes at the end i'd the book was a really nice touch, since reading about them during the story was quite mouth watering.

Another Great Addition to Bourbon Springs!

First off, I really enjoy Jennifer Bramseth's writing style and the world of Bourbon Springs, so this isn't my first review of this series. We start this story five years in the past with two characters, Goose and Harriet, who begin to build a relationship and friendship. Then skip to the present where we see these characters true struggle to their HEA. The fun thing to read is that these two characters struggle in a romantic and sweet way to overcome obstacles that stand in the way of two people who obviously belong together. Overall, I loved seeing these two characters interact, there was so much fun chemistry between them.
I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed the story and especially Jennifer's writing style, which is very descriptive and pulls you right into the story, as do all of her stories. During most, if not all, of the story I could really "see" everything being described and felt like I was actually a supportive character in the book.
This is the fifth book in this series, but can be read as a standalone book. However, you will want to go back and read the first four as well, and continue to pre-order the rest in the series as they come out!
Overall, Cedar and Cinnamon was a fun read with good writing enhanced by an enjoyable story line, lovable characters and a very sweet happily ever after love story!

This series just keeps getting better with each new addition

For this addition to the Bourbon Springs series, Cedar and Cinnamon – the Cover Description pretty much tells you what to expect in this story. So I’m just going to tell you my emotional reaction to this story and let you combine the two in your mind.
Goose has been a pain in the butt troublemaker for years. And for the most part he has earned and enjoyed his reputation as the town bad boy. Yet what most folks see on the surface is all the further they’re ever going to go. Down deep Goose is a man who made mistakes and is trying to find his place within the distillery – and because of an old feud and some bitterness passed down through the generations, sometimes doing the right thing for himself and the company isn’t easy.
Harriet likes order and Goose is the last person she wants to be working closely with. They have a history – and maybe those feelings aren’t as solidly in the past as she would like to believe. With a closer relationship she begins to see parts of Goose that she never realized were there and she definitely likes what she’s discovering.
Not everything is going to go smoothly – not the project, the business nor the budding relationship. Mistakes will be made. And atonements will have to be offered as well. Can two people who obviously belong together get past what’s in their way and find true happiness together at last? Hmmm.. to know that you’ll have to read Cedar and Cinnamon for yourself.
I enjoyed this addition to the series very much. Everytime I think I can safely state that such and such is my favorite of the series – the next one comes along and takes its place, so no more declarations for me. :) I loved the story, the characters and I’m definitely looking forward to what comes at us next.
